Alison Braun took 2nd place by less than 700gm in 2008 The Biggest Loser but took first place in the hearts of Australian Viewers. This now strong, confident and lovingly nicked named Australia’s” Yummy Mummy” entered the Australian publics hearts at an unhealthy 121.7 kilos, sad trapped by her weight and no idea really who she was and what she was capable of achieving. Alison showed strength, determination, heart and a killer smile that took her all the way to final 3 and the finale stage where she took the Australian publics breath away with her amazing transformation.Alison lost 55.2 kilos which was 45.36% of her total body weight and although just missed out on the 1st prize she is to date the most successful female contestant in all 3 series of The Biggest Loser.Alison is the quintessential mum of 3 who showed Australia anything is possible. Now armed with an amazing new body and a zest for life and the knowledge of how to reach goals Alison has become an enchanting and motivating speaker. During Alison’s journey on The Biggest Loser weight loss was the mission but little did she know how much she would discover about herself and life and more importantly how to live life to the full.Alison now empowered by her amazing achievements and her emotional journey travels Australia sharing her amazing story and encouraging people to take control of their life and to live not just exist!
